Eight months later, with just a smattering of Spanish, she packed her Honda Civic to the gills and headed down the highway for her new abode a few degrees south of the Tropic of Cancer. After a number of years in her own property management company and as public relations director with Mexico Boutique Hotels, she entered the real estate field in 2004 . Pratt has an extensive background in tourism, hotels and property management in both her native Canada and Mexico. She brings us insights on living, owning and working on the Pacific coast of Mexico from both a layman's and a professional's standpoint.
